Bluebird Le Snak Packing Line
Objectives
TEG were commissioned to provide project engineering and project management for a multi-stage upgrade to a cheese processing plant. The project scope included:
- New thermo-former
- Cartoning
- Inspection camera
- X-ray
- Building and drainage works
Challenges
- Integrating a variety of different suppliers equipment
- Extremely tight factory layout
- Requirement to reconfigure production line to allow space
- Tight timeline to meet launch dates
Results
The new line represented a major development for the site and TEG successfully delivered the multi-stage upgrades in the required timeframe with no injuries to contractor personnel. The new facility is a great improvement from the previous production area with much improved flows and efficiency.
